***Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi NEW Update:***
As we are post COVID-19 and re-opening at the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi, you will notice what we believe are positive changes!
We are asking for the communities' help and patience as we venture into this uncharted territory! We are changing our business model.
You will be affected in the following ways:
When our teachers return, they will be teaching under the State of Texas’ guidelines of business reopening. Many of our long-time teachers have elected to not return immediately due to personal preferences. They may be caring for elderly individuals or have conditions which would put them in harm’s way by returning to teach public classes too soon. This being said, we will not be able to offer a full schedule of classes, immediately.
We will be making changes to the billing process at the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi. The package plans that you may have been on, will no longer be available.
Each teacher will have their own independent business operating out of the Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi. You will now pay each teacher directly for classes. The Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi will no longer be able to accept payments for services. This is meant to be of benefit to you and gives you the wonderful opportunity to support your teachers directly.
We will no longer utilize MindBody software for booking classes. We are working hard behind the scenes to be ready for you.
***Each teacher is creating Venmo, PayPal, or another means of accepting payment. We will have information about each teacher and how to contact them via our Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi’s web site. We will do our best to streamline information to you regarding what classes are available and how to take classes. We always welcome your comments and suggestions. You are welcome to e-mail Michelle Acebo at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will assist you in getting familiar with our new and exciting system. We will also be making changes to how we handle community props. We will no longer have yoga mats to “borrow”. We will be selling our used mats at the studio for $10 cash. You can have your own. There are limited quantities available. We cannot assume the responsibility of cleaning/sterilizing the mats at this time. Cleaning products are scarce, at best.
If you have used our props in the past, you are recommended to purchase and bring your own to use for yoga classes. Yoga Studio of Corpus Christi will no longer be providing loaner props.
These are recommended props to own:
1 - yoga mat
1 - 8 or 10 foot strap with a D ring buckle
2 - blocks of your choice
2 – Yoga blankets
1- King size pillow case (to put over public bolsters).
Remember that we are all in this together and we will all emerge together. We are so grateful to the many clients who have offered to continue on their auto deducts even while we had no public classes. Your offers and well wishes have fueled our desire to hurry up and get back to doing what we do best. We voluntarily suspended all billing to clients as soon as we understood that the studio would not be able to provide the services you were paying for. We understood that this would be an uncertain time of great financial impact. We did not want to put anyone in a bad situation, financially. We look out for you in the same way that you look out for us. This is what community does for one another.
Please read the teachers page prior to classes to discover how your teacher will accept payment. Cash, credit cards, and debit cards are accepted by most teachers!
If you have any questions please let us know!
